I agree. Or atleast make the picture posts unviewable to non-posters.

if you see a newb with a first thread, be sure to leave positive feedback. getting over that first hurdle is the biggest thing to overcome. hopefully they'll feel welcome and post again!

at least use the thanks option

i wish we had 8,000+ posters...

On a yahoo group I was a member of some time ago, the moderator, every so often, say once amonth, used to randomly select a letter of the alphabet and ban a set number of members who had not posted. It wasn't a solution to unproductive lurkers, but a little incentive for those who only required a little encouragement. Just a thought :mad:

Not everyone can post pictures and also sooner or later the member that posted all the time would run out of things to post.
Plus the site would loss money in the ads...
