"I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over!!!!!"
THE LAW IS THE LAW
The US government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, and that the "Ten! Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, and they already have prohibited any prayer in the schools, on which they deem their authority....
BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT I'D LIKE?
Since we can't pray to God, can't Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don't believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.
I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays. After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the "Christmas
Break." After all it's just another day.
I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be "politically correct."
In fact....
I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshipping God...)
because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day....
What do you all think????
If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the minority opinions and begin, once again, to represent the 'majority' of ALL of the American people.
SO BE IT...........
Please Dear Lord,
Give us the help needed to keep you in our country!
'Amen' and 'Amen'
Touche!
These are definitely things I never thought about but from now on, I will be sure to questions those in government who support these changes.
At the top, it says "I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over!!!!!"
Let's see that it does. Keep it in your mailbox and resend it whenever someone new comes along.

i fully agree, i would not object if they said under god, goddess, buddha, allah, etc. and while thanksgiving is not a religious holiday ( in fact celebrating the beginning of the rape pillage and almost total decimation of the native american populous is utterly heinous ) i think they should work then as well. 3 cheers

ha! government workers giving up holiday pay! like that'll ever happen! and aren't 90% of americans some kind of christians anyway!?
the reason liberals are trying to take out religion, is that religion and socialism can't survive together. libs want us to look upon the government in the same manner most of us look upon religion. do you really think the tradgedies behind the iron curtain, could have happened if the communist leaders were held to a higher moral ground? c'mon! the first things socialist controlled governments do is ban religions (except a "state sponsered" one). once we can't hold our leaders morally responsible for their actions, we get leaders like stalin, castro, ho-chi minh, pol-pot, and that fine chinese government that's been silencing her critics and instilling fear as a way of control for all these many years.
that's what they want here. and we're letting it happen. if you stand up against them, you're labeled "insensitive" and a "hate monger". they'll sue you for anguish and commiting hate-crimes. meaning precedent is being set in the courts, by lawmakers, to silence the majority. this is the land of the free? why does the american communist party support democrats so fervorently?!?! can't you see the social programs ie. health care, education, taking your tax money to support people who don't work (social-sec, welfare)? that's called socialism people! look at the way the media presents stories. example: in toledo, oh, protesters to a nazi rally burned and looted the town. from media reports, you'd have thought the nazi's marched that day. in fact the march was cancelled in advance, but guess who still burned the town? but since everyone hates nazis, the protesters (looters) have a free pass, and are considered patriots! even though i don't agree with the nazis, it's how the media presents it. whites bad. just like christianity if full of puritans that want to stamp out every religion! not true!
silence the majority.

Great post jbx.. I agree with you 110%. We have to stand up for ourselves before its too late. I found this article, although old, it is still relevant:
America turning into a Communist country by 2010?
Balaji Reddy, Special Correspondent
September 05, 2004
Sometime unbelievable things can happen. According to some international smart think tanks America will turn into a socialistic or communist country by 2010. The assumptions in the model is that George Bush will win narrowly in 2004, job picture will worsen badly, the debt load of American consumers will cause major bankruptcies and American Corporations will export most of the jobs overseas to save cost and fight the deflation.
We checked the history of French revolution and Bolshevik revolution in Russia. All these catastrophic changes in society were marked with years of disregard of a section of the people. In America today the population is split between conservative rich and progressive not rich. Democrats and Republicans have split the country right at 50% for each side. Early indications show Bush or Kerry will win by a very slim margin. The House and the Senate have never experienced so narrow a majority for either party. People are divided based on their philosophical approach to life, economic and social status and not on the performance of any party or any politician.
One of the notable thing that has happened in America since 2000 is total disregard of 50% of the population. Bush served very well for his own constituency but did nothing to help the other side. And remember he received less than 50% of the total vote. A few years before Bolshevic revolution, people were confused in Russia. Some of them supported the Czar and some did not know what to do. At this time a very small section of people led by Lenin came and literally provided an alternative. Once the ball got rolling, nothing could stop. It was a civil war and the root of modern day communism, as we know it was established.
French Revolution saw a similar sequence of events. The famous phrase –“if you do not have bread eat a cake” is similar to what America is telling the Americans today –“if you are poor then get rich so that you can pay less tax and have health care insurance.”
At this time the Bush Administration is relying on terrorism as a cover to keep people thinking about it. Democrats are busy defending themselves against vicious attacks. They are also busy collecting their own rewards. Look at the Governor of NJ. Whether you call it corruption or not, Democrats may lose the legislative and executive branches narrowly in spite of all the failures in every direction by the Bush Administration.
How will communism come about in America? It is impossible to predict. It may be in the form of something we never saw before. Certainly Nadr is not the one who can bring it. These kinds of things happen only when majority of population is not cared for and people lose all hopes.
It is desirable that nothing like this happens ever in America because the effects will be so severe for the world that it will not be pleasant for anyone. The changes may come through the ballot too. But the problem is that forming a new party and contest in election in America is reserved for the rich. It is almost a “pressure cooker” with a heavy weight. All the despair and hopelessness are accumulating. People are losing jobs and more jobs are being shipped to India and China. The unemployed have the hardest time in the history to get decent jobs. All the jobs that are getting created are minimum wage type of jobs.
Failure of Democrats in providing a sensible strong opposition to Republican policies is creating the mess. A democracy cannot survive with corrupted weak opposition. Republicans have served their own constituency well but have regarded little for the wish of another 50% of the country. A staggering 42 million people live without health insurance and prediction are that 80% of Americans may not have coverage by 2010. Can you really live in America without Medical insurance? No – it is just impossible. Recent Federal Reserve actions of lowering interest rates and lowering the criteria for allowing underwriting home and other consumer loans have pushed home prices to the roof. Common people in America cannot own homes anymore. Maximum they can do is to get an interest only home – this does not make you a homeowner – it is another name for renting with unnecessarily high price.
The problem is that Al-Queda terrorists have caused a major problem for America and the world. They have drained the country of resources needed to support people’s needs in creating terrorism shields all over the world. A staggering amount will be spent in home land security when people are dying without proper medical care and some have problems in paying the mortgage or putting food on the table.
America may go through a major change – it may be that some one will come with an alternative political philosophy – socialism or communism. It is also possible that as usual Americans will show that they are worlds best in correcting their problems and nothing will really happen of the magnitude the think tanks are predicting

I would be happy if those cockheads in our House and Senate worked through the summer. It just might justify the amount of money they get paid.

Who would have guessed that we'd find so many righteous, god-fearing folk on a porn forum?
:p
But the initial post is wrong. It's not political correctness or secularism that's prompting the US government to remove the 10 commandments from government buildings. It's guilt. I mean how could anyone be expected to work in a court or congress or senate with stone tablets outside saying 'Thou Shalt not Kill', 'Thou shalt not commit adultry', 'Thou shalt not covet your neighbours wife' or 'Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbour' :)
