Is it right that it isn't possible anymore to edit my own post ? I also tried to find out if I can delete a post and then I saw that I couldn't even edit it ?
The post it's concerning is the one titled "She mad it ..." and I tried to delete it, because it's a repost ...

maybe mfizzel knows for sure, but i believe after a while (7 min?) you can't go back and edit your post. a cheap way is to make sure you're subscribed to your threads (user cp) and delete your attachments to said thread. sooner or later a mod will see the empty thread, and delete, or combine it with another thread of the same nature.

There's a 180 minute limit on editing posts.

exactly what I was trying to say but was too stoned to, thank you
Also, I wonder...can a member goto manage attachments in their UserCP and delete them?? Can a member log into their CP and let me know?

yeah, I remember back in the day, before I became an almighty MOD... you can go into your attachments and delete them in the CP, but that would still leave the post behind. and at that point, after the time limit runs out, you'd have to ask a MOD to delete the thread for you.

Okay thanks ... just curious ... why this limited time to edit you're own post ?
I think the easiast way to delete a post is ask a mod ;) So if you wan't to edit a post, ask a mod to the delete it and post it again and THEN edit it within 180 min. (something is wrong with this) :D

I think it's OK to delete posts after 6-12 months to shrink the database and made the forum and page faster in the forum of my online clan we delete posts after 12 months it's enough time to read & to see it and it's all automatically by the board my friend has licensed this one http://www.woltlab.de/index_en.php it's really good and great ;)

Just out of curiosity why would you need more than 3 hours to edit your post?

So how does one become a mod?
by spending years posting on multiple forums, knowing the nuances of this particular hobby, gaining respect of others across the forum boundaries, all the while growing your own "legend".
i may act silly at times ;) , but i take modding forums quite seriously. if i miss one underage pic, one bad thread, the whole board gets shut down, and we all have to start over again. especially a nude forum. that's why we're here now. thanks to mfizzel for starting this place up after our old hang-out got shut down (another board by different folks).

If you have to ask, you already answered your own question.
