Why is this site so SLOW?!

Why is this board so gosh darn slow? I get constant time-outs, over and over again. It'd be a great site if it just wasn't so ridiculously slow...especially with the intention of viewing and posting pics! I'm aware that the majority of message boards tend to be a bit on the slow side, but this site is just horrible! What's causing this? Am I the only one?? I just think it's really a shame that it has to be so slow, because other than that, I like the site.

Hi BHTX, glad you wrote that actually, I thought something was wrong with my computers. They're pretty highspeed, so waiting 20 seconds seems like forever to me. But I've also only noticed it more in the last week or so.

Yea it's gotten worse recently, we've outgrown the server and this is our last month on this server (feb. 21 - mar. 21) - by mid march (approx 3. weeks) we'll be on a new beast(dual processor BEAST), and this site will fly and it'll be much more enjoyable to post pics on (like the old days of TNB)

yeah, some of the newer guys don't know how fast this was at the begining, and then after the server update #1.... I am looking forward to this update like NONE other! WOO HOO!
