Just purchased a brand new server for TheNudeBoard!

It'll be ready this coming week which is when I'll move the site to the new server...

Why a new server? Well, we've grown tremendously in the 3 weeks we've been up(over half a million image views), and you've probably noticed the site loading slow or timing out, and I've had to reboot the server multiple times because the load gets so high.

New Server Features :

- Pentium 4 2.8Ghz
- 2GB RAM!! (We only have 256mb right now, lol)
- 120 GB HD (That's a lot of f'n pics, and when we need to, I'll add a second drive)
- 1.6 TERABYTES of bandwidth
- 100 Mbps Port


This place is going to fly!

I'll send out emails before the server move to notify people of when the site will be down (shouldn't be long at all) and I'll send out another email to notify everyone when the site is back up...on the new beast.

But may I ask you something? You don't make money off this site do you?

I haven't yet...but this server costs $150 a month so I'm hoping to offset that cost with the ads you see here.

The site has almost made enough to pay for the first month of the new server so I'm pretty excited about that.
