can anybody tell me if it's possible to upload a rar file? i have 20 small (1.6mb) vids I'd like to upload but I don't want to send a few at a time.

Yes you can upload .rar files. It's one of the "valid file extensions" that are supported here at TNB.

Valid file extensions: asf avi bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg mov mp3 mpeg mpg pdf png psd RAR rm torrent txt wmv z01 z02 z03 z04 z05 z06 z07 z08 zip

In addition to the answer of HRP: the file you want to upload can not be bigger than 8MB, so you can upload your vids in 4 or 5 parts
