Downloading urls

hey,

i have some grate vids i want to post on the site, the only problem is that its streaming media, and my connection is crap so the video doesn't play smothly, i have the url for the streaming media, is there any way i can download it to HD so i can post? (BTW it doesn't alow you to right click on the link and save target as)

Have you tried with Firefox? I find sometimes with the url, if you put it in your address bar firefox will download it (not always, guess it depends how it's encoded). And there's also some good plug ins for Firefox that allow you to snatch the embeded files off a site (FlashGot, Down Them All).
