Be careful, man. I hope everything turns out alright for you.
We took my kids to Disney last year at this time. The last few days were interrupted by Hurricane Jeanne. We fled to my aunt and uncle's house in the Tampa area. Got to experience some strong winds and stuff. Was rather interesting.
Peace to ya, man.

Thnx guys, this is crazy! Luckily I have family in Dallas 3 1/2 hours away so I'm leaving for Big D in the next hour or so...everyone is saying the roads are completely jammed.
Rita became a category 5 hurricane yesterday, and they're saying if it maintains it's intensity it could be more severe than Katrina.
On Wednesday night, forecasters said Rita had become the third most powerful hurricane recorded in the Atlantic Basin, based on its central pressure.
Wind speeds accelerate as a hurricane's internal pressure -- measured in millibars -- decreases, pulling high pressure air into the low-pressure center of the storm.
According to the hurricane center, Rita -- with 898 millibars of pressure -- ranks only behind Hurricane Gilbert in 1988 with 888 millibars and the 1935 Labor Day hurricane with 892 mb. Rita's central pressure has since increased.

The weather channel predictions this morniing said that once it gets closer to the coast, it could weaken to a strong Cat 4. Hopefully it keeps moving as quickly as it has to minimize the beating on the coast.

It's all good, I safely made it to Dallas.
If I was gunned down or some shit I'd hope the mods would continue to run this place

Good to hear that you're safe. I hope that your area doesn't get hit by Rita.
Stay safe.
